OTTAWA – The Cornwall Colts are now sporting a four-game losing skid after dropping an 8-5 decision to the Gloucester Rangers Friday night.
The Colts were first on the board and were ahead 2-1 at the end of the first period. But the Rangers opened it up in the second scoring four goals – two on the power play – to put them ahead.
Both teams were more evening matched with shots on goal – Cornwall’s 30 to Gloucester’s 31.
There were 167 people at the Earl Armstrong Arena for the game.
The Colts play next on Thanksgiving Monday in Carleton Place at 2 p.m.
