Bill Kingston – Editor

With over 25 years in the news business, Bill has always had a passion for telling the stories you want to read about. He is a Broadcast Journalism graduate of Loyalist College in Belleville.

Bill has worked in newsrooms in Belleville, Cobourg and North Bay and also managed radio newsrooms in Kirkland Lake, Parry Sound and Cornwall.

Bill is committed to upholding the highest standards of journalism. He is a longtime member of the RTDNA – The Radio Television Digital News Association. He has also served as a member on the Loyalist College Broadcast Journalism Advisory Committee and has been a professor of journalism at St. Lawrence College in Cornwall.

When Bill isn’t covering news, he’s usually running, cycling, hiking and is a competitive duathlete, participating in duathlons in Eastern Ontario. He is also an active member with the Cornwall Multisport Club and president of the Cornwall & District Horticultural Society.
