CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts got clawed at home by the Smiths Falls Bears.
The Bears were first on the board with a goal from Jackson Heron in the second period on Sunday afternoon (Dec. 14).
Cornwall’s Brandon Rockwell would score a goal in the third period but Smiths Falls rallied back late in the period with goals from Alex Fortier and D.J. Ott.
The final was 3-1.
Colts goalie Colton Rheaume was named one of the stars of the game, turning aside 34 shots on goal, even though he took the loss.
Next action for the Colts is on Thursday when they host Nepean.
