Guns, drugs seized during traffic stop

CORNWALL – Two men from Hawkesbury and one from Grenville, Quebec are facing a laundry-list of charges after a traffic stop here on Thursday night.

Cornwall Police Const. Dan Cloutier says a vehicle was pulled over near Ninth Street and Gloucester for a “routine check.”

Police say the officer found three long guns in the vehicle, along with hydromorphone, marijuana and stolen property.

The three men – two of them 24 and the other 31 – were arrested and are facing a total of 26 charges.

They were held for a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
