Cornwall Colts win in shootout

CORNWALL – For only the third time this season, the Cornwall Colts ended a game in a shootout – and this time they won.

Tristen Elie had the shootout goal as the Colts beat Kemptville 5-4 Sunday afternoon.

Elie also scored in regulation along with singles from Parker Krol, Tristan Conrad and Tanner Spink.

The Colts were able to battle back against the 73’s despite being out shot 40-32.

Roughly 1,076 fans were at the Ed Lumley Arena for the game.

With a game left in regulation, Cornwall is second in the Robinson Division with a record of 37-18-4-2 for 80 points, 19 points behind Carleton Place.

The Colts play Thursday when they host the Cumberland Grads at 7:30 p.m.
