Colts win at home in shootout with 73’s

CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts defeated the Kemptville 73’s Thursday night at the Ed Lumley Arena as part of a home-and-home series.

Charles Lamoureux was first on the board for the Colts with a goal in the first.

Brayden Bowen had a power play goal in the second followed by a shorthanded goal in the third period by Tristan Miron.

Bradley Fraser netted the shootout goal to secure the win for the Colts.

The final was 4-3.

Cornwall is second in the Yzerman Division with 39 points (17-7-2-3) and has closed the gap with the league-leading Rockland Nationals to within four points.

The Colts are in Kemptville tonight (Dec. 13) with the puck drop at 7:30 p.m.
