SD&G – Diversity Cornwall kicks off a week of activities celebrating the LGBTQ community.
The events start this afternoon (Aug. 7) with a watercolour workshop in Alexandria at The Cozy Corner.
There will also be an online drag workshop tomorrow and Wednesday will see South Stormont included with a drag story time at the municipal office on Mille Roches Road.
The week culminates with the Pride Parade and Festival in Lamoureux Park on Saturday (Aug. 12) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The parade starts at 11 a.m. the Cornwall Civic Complex and goes through the downtown core.
Sunday will see a brunch and service at Knox St. Paul’s United Church.
