CORNWALL – A multi-lap battle between Carey Terrance, Cory Wheeler and Mario Clair saw Clair take the win for the second round of the Canadian Nationals at Cornwall Motor Speedway.
Clair used a lap car to grab the lead with 10 laps to go in the 75-lap race Sunday night and win the $4,000 purse. Wheeler was second, followed by Terrance.
In other action, Shane Pecore won the sportsman feature, Burton Ward took the 50-lap pro-stock, Xavier Lauzon won the 25-lap lightning sprints and James Clarke won the mini-stock.
Speedway action returns next Sunday.
