HAWKESBURY – The Cornwall Colts finished the regular season with a 4-3 overtime win to the Hawkesbury Hawks Friday night.
Scoring for Cornwall were Nick Abbott, Tommy Tanner and Philippe Gilmour in regulation, plus Gilmour notched the goal in overtime.
The Colts finish the 2018-19 CCHL season with a record of 24-29-7-2 with 57 points.
That put the Cornwall team ninth out of 12 CCHL teams and out of playoff contention. The Colts were also second last in the Yzerman Division, 30 points ahead of the basement dwelling Nepean Raiders.
