OTTAWA – The Cornwall Colts had a three-game winning streak snapped Saturday night as they fell 4-2 to the Ottawa Junior Senators.
Josh Barnes and Tristan Poissant scored the two goals for Cornwall.
Ottawa replied on those goals in the first and third periods and were tied 2-2 heading into the final minutes before the Junior Senators scored on a power play and then had an empty-netter to seal the win.
Cornwall goalie Michael Carr is tagged with the loss.
The Colts are back in action Tuesday (Feb. 26) when they host Nepean.
They have failed to clinch a playoff birth, being 20 points back of third place Rockland in the Yzerman Division.
