CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts came out strong but fell to the Brockville Braves by the third period, losing 3-1 to their Highway 401 rival.

Cornwall was first on the board on a goal from Lawson MacDonald but Brockville’s Ian Johnston lit the lamp in the second to tie up the game.

Brockville scored two more times in the third period to seal their victory.

The Colts’ offence was strong, out shooting the Braves 42-28 but were not able to capitalize on those scoring chances.
