Freezing rain warning for SD&G

SD&G – A freezing rain warning is in effect for SD&G.

Environment Canada says a wintry mix of heavy snow, blowing snow will come tonight (Tuesday) and then be followed by freezing rain tomorrow.

It’s expected to hit around the time people are heading to work and could last a few hours.

The freezing rain should change to rain around midday.

For SD&G, roughly five centimeters (two inches) of snow is forecast and will be blown around by winds of 30 to 50 kilometers an hour.
