Winning streak snapped for Cornwall Colts

CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts’ four game winning streak has been snapped with a loss to the Ottawa Junior Senators Thursday night.

Cornwall led the game a couple times before falling 5-4 in regulation before 1,001 people at the Ed Lumley Arena.

Scoring for Cornwall were Dave Chevrier with two goals and singles from Nick Lalonde and Sebastien Dirven.

It was Dirven’s first CCHL goal.

The Colts fall to 14-9-2, good for sixth place overall in the league.

Cornwall next plays a home Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. against the Gloucester Rangers.
