SD&G – School buses have been cancelled across Cornwall and SD&G today (Feb. 10).
The transportation consortium Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) has cancelled all school buses in the region. The French transportation consortium also cancelled buses.
STEO says the cancellation is due to “forecasted weather.”
A special weather statement is in effect for the Cornwall area with 7-12 centimeters (2.8-4.7 inches) of snow expected with reduced visibility in blowing snow.
Schools remain open.
This is the seventh time this season buses have been cancelled due to the weather. The last cancellation was Jan. 26.
