BROCKVILLE – The Cornwall Colts were trounced by their Highway 401 rivals – the Brockville Braves.
The Friday night game (Jan. 2) saw Brockville first on the board with a goal from Kimani Eccleston before the Colts’ Adam Walker answered with a lamp-lighter 12:20 into the first period.
Brockville would score two more goals in the first, another in the second period from Eccleston and a third goal on a power play in the third to seal the victory.
The final was 5-1 for Brockville.
The Colts next play on Thursday (Jan. 8) when they host the Rockland Nationals at 7:30 p.m.
