CORNWALL – The City of Cornwall is closing its offices and facilities due to the severe weather hitting the region.
The area is under a winter storm warning with another 5-10 centimeters (2-4 inches) of snow expected this afternoon (Feb. 13) on top of what was already received earlier today and last night.
The Benson Center and Aquatic Center are closing at noon today. All City of Cornwall offices are also closing.
Cornwall Transit is still operating on a normal schedule and garbage and recycling collection is continuing although there may be some delays, said city spokeswoman Allison St-Jean.
