SD&G – A very windy day is in store for residents of Cornwall and SD&G.
Environment Canada issued a wind warning this morning (Monday) saying gusts up to 90 and 100 kilometers per hour are expected this afternoon and into tonight.
The wind is expected to die off through the overnight hours.
The weather agency says a cold front is moving into the area which will bring “bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow” giving reduced viability on the roads at times.
With the high wind, there’s a chance people in rural areas could experience a loss of power.
