
CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts are on their winter break after splitting their last two games against the Hawkesbury Hawks.
The Colts won 5-2 at home Thursday night (Dec. 19).
Scoring for Cornwall were Camden McCuaig with a pair of goals and singles from Roarke Gilmour, Zack Speck-Meek and Brayden Bowen.
Then on the road Friday night (Dec. 20), the Colts fell by the same score – 5-2 – at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex.
Camden McCuaig had both goals in the losing cause.
The team has slipped to third place in the Yzerman Division with 41 points (18-10-2-3) – one point back of the Navan Grads and trailing the Rockland Nationals by 10 points.
The Colts are on break until Jan. 9 when they welcome the Renfrew Wolves to the Ed Lumley Arena at 7:30 p.m.
