Three arrested in drug trafficking investigation

LONG SAULT – A five month OPP drug trafficking investigation has led to the arrests of three people in Cornwall and South Stormont.

SD&G OPP and other specialized police units searched homes in Long Sault, Ingleside and Cornwall last week (Sept. 5) and seized cash, a Taser, imitation firearms, machetes, drugs believed to be cocaine and motorcycle gang clothing.

A 78-year-old man from Long Sault, a 33-year-old man from Valleyfield, Que. and a 36-year-old man from Cornwall are charged.
