Gill wins second race of season at Cornwall Motor Speedway

CORNWALL – Jackson Gill won his second feature race at Cornwall Motor Speedway Sunday night (May 26).

Gill was able to make his way through the pack, grabbing second spot by lap 10, during the 35-lap 358 modified feature race and took advantage of some cautions to pull away from the field after lap 29.

This was Gill’s second win after taking the 55-lap Canadian Nationals opener on May 19 during the speedway’s opening night.

Carey Terrance was second and Ryan Stabler came in third.

In other action, Cedric Gauvreau won the sportsman feature, Xavier Lauzon took the lightning sprints, Nick Merkley won the novice sportsman division and Chris Cotton took the checkered flag in the 20-lap mini-stock.
