GLEN WALTER – The Raisin Region Conservation Authority will have a new general manager later this summer.

Alison McDonald will be taking over for Richard Pilon, when he retires on June 28.

McDonald and Pilon will work together starting June 3 in order to have a smooth transition, the RRCA said.

McDonald is coming from the neighbouring South Nation Conservation Authority, where she is the managing director of approvals.

She is also a North Stormont township councillor.

“Having had the opportunity to work with Alison in various capacities during my career, I know she will lead our team to new levels of success,” Pilon said in a news release.
