Nfld. truck driver last seen near Summerstown

SUMMERSTOWN – A long-haul truck driver from Newfoundland has been reported missing near Summerstown.

SD&G OPP say Brian Lush was last seen on surveillance video after getting out of his truck at the Petro-Pass gas station.

“Brian’s family last heard from him April 24, 2024. They tracked the truck’s GPS to a gas station on County Road 27 in the Summerstown area and then contacted the OPP,” police said.

The video shows Lush getting out of his truck around 4:30 p.m. on April 24 and walking to the front before he disappears from view, according to OPP.

Police say his personal belongings were still in the rig.

Lush is described as 5-foot-10 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and short brown hair. He was wearing a blue hoodie, jeans and possibly a baseball cap.

If you know his whereabouts or having any information, call your local police department.

Police say they have conducted a search using a drone and police dogs and were not able to find anything.
