Colts dominate Brockville Braves

BROCKVILLE – The Cornwall Colts blasted the Brockville Braves 8-2 Friday night.

Tristan Miron scored Cornwall’s first goal on a powerplay in the first period before Brockville answered with a goal from Owen Watson.

But then Cornwall dominated the second period, notching five goals with a pair from Fernand-Olivier Perron and singles from Nathan Garnier, Jacob McLellan and Adam Walker.

The final two goals in the third game came from Garnier and Kobe Tallman.

The Colts are on a three game winning streak and are atop the Yzerman Division with 26 points (12-3-0-2) – three points ahead of the Navan Grads.

The team’s next action is Thursday (Nov. 9) when they welcome the Kemptville 73’s.
