MP adds evening hours to Cornwall constituency office

SDSG – People in the Cornwall area will be able address issues with their Member of Parliament after work hours once a week.

Local MP Eric Duncan is adding two hours in the evening on Wednesdays at his constituency office at 691-C Brookdale Avenue. The office will now be open until 6:30 p.m. Regular hours the rest of the week are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“Residents who work during the day, or are driving in from outside the city, will now have extra time to visit the office with their applications and case files,” Duncan said in a news release.

As for satellite offices, the one in Morrisburg has reopened Thursday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the South Dundas Municipal Center at 34 Ottawa Street.

The Winchester satellite office has moved its hours from Mondays to Thursdays and runs from 9 a.m. until noon at the North Dundas township office at 636 St. Lawrence Street in Winchester.

MPs offices deal with various federal matters including passport applications, employment insurance and immigration and veterans cases.
