CORNWALL – A driver from Trenton, Ont. took the checkered flag as the Northeast Late Model Alliance came to Cornwall Motor Speedway.
Steve Baldwin won the race that’s part of five racetracks in the Northeast (Brockville, Brighton, Cornwall, Ohsweken (near Brantford), Humberstone (Port Colborne)).
Local driver Brian McDonald finished eighth.
In other action, Carey Terrance won the 35-lap 358 modified race, Gabriel Cyr took the sportsman feature and Dakota Sharp won the street stocks.
Speedway action returns next Sunday.
