ALEXANDRIA – A medical radiation technologist at Glengarry Memorial Hospital has been recognized for her 50 years of service.
Francine Leblanc has worked her entire career at the hospital in Alexandria.
She was presented with a certificate of recognition by Mayor Jamie MacDonald during an event last week.
CEO Robert Alldred-Hughes called Leblanc’s commitment to health care “truly inspiring” and her work has “left an indelible mark on our hospital and the broader community.”
“I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to patient well-being and the community’s health,” Leblanc said.
Medical radiation technicians perform diagnostic procedures and analyze images to help physicians make diagnoses for various disorders.
