MORRISBURG – A crash between a transport truck and a passenger vehicle on Highway 401 has resulted in the death of one person.
SD&G OPP say the crash happened in the eastbound lanes, east of Upper Canada Road, around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The highway in both directions had been closed between Upper Canada Road and Dickinson Drive in Ingleside.
The westbound lanes reopened around 8:45 p.m. The eastbound ones remained closed for an investigation.
The name of the victim has not been released.
