Six pedestrians hit at Cornwall intersection

CORNWALL – City police are appealing for witnesses after a two-car crash resulted in one of the vehicles hitting a crowd of pedestrians Sunday night.

The Cornwall Police Service says six people were struck at the corner of Ninth Street and Sydney Street just before 7 p.m.

All of them were taken to hospital by ambulance – four with serious injuries.

No charges have been laid yet as police say their investigation is ongoing.
