COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 6, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Public Health Ontario reported another 508** cases of COVID-19 (Due to technical issues at PHO, VAX data not available), bringing the total to 602,595. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Friday. Of those, 589,166 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,896 people have died (three more than Friday but three removed due to data clean-up).

There are 203 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 130 in ICU and 82 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,127,141 (30,145 more than Friday) and results are pending for 14,173.

Due to technical issues, vaccine-related data from PHO is not available.

**Peel (46), Toronto (76), York Region (25) and Ottawa (49) account for 196 of today’s cases.
