COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 7, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Public Health Ontario reported another 636** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 325 none, 15 partial, 248 full, 48 unknown), bringing the total to 603,231. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Saturday. Of those, 589,533 are resolved (97.7 per cent) and 9,898 people have died (two more than Saturday).

There are 93 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 126 in ICU and 81 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,154,287 (27,146 more than Saturday) and results are pending for 9,364.

Ontario has administered 22,606,903 vaccine doses (12,754 more than Saturday), 11,078,003 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (41), Toronto (60), York Region (49) and Ottawa (42) account for 192 of today’s cases.
