CORNWALL – A Cornwall man is facing nine charges after a robbery at a Pitt Street eatery.
City police say the accused went into the Pitt Street diner on Wednesday (March 31) and demanded money from a worker while threatening to kill that person and others in the business.
Three patrons were also assaulted, including one who was hit with a salt shaker.
When police arrived on the scene, the accused is said to have got into a struggle with them before his arrest.
A 29-year-old Cornwall man is facing charges of robbery with violence, assault with a weapon, two counts of common assault, four counts of making threats and resisting police.
