CORNWALL – If you’re out for that late night Christmas party, watch where you park your car.
The City of Cornwall’s full overnight parking restrictions went into effect on Sunday.
You can’t park on the street overnight from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., which started on Dec. 15 (Sunday), for most city streets.
The exceptions are Pitt from Ninth to Water, Second from Augustus to Sydney and Montreal from Belmont to Gloucester. The overnight restrictions on those sections of streets doesn’t kick in until 2 a.m.
If you’re caught parking overnight, the fine is $25.
The full overnight parking ban is in effect until the end of March 2020.
