Violent home invasion in South Glengarry; Cornwall man charged

GREEN VALLEY – A Cornwall man is facing 17 charges after a violent home invasion in South Glengarry.

Police were called on Monday night last week (Dec. 9) after they say two people broke into a home on County Road 25.

They held the victim against his will, assaulted him and then took items from the home, SD&G O.P.P. said.

Police arrested Justin Cloutier, 24, on Friday (Dec. 13). He’s facing 17 charges including robbery with a firearm and assault with a weapon.

He was kept in custody pending a bail hearing.

An investigation continues as police look to locate the second suspect.
