CORNWALL – A section of Boundary Road and the westbound ramps connecting Highway 401 are expected to be closed for several hours today (Wednesday) for an environmental cleanup.

The crews are cleaning up oil and diesel fuel from a collision involving two tractor-trailers on the Highway 401 overpass on Boundary Road.

The westbound on and off-ramps as well as a section of Boundary Road is closed between both sides of the freeway overpass. Glen Road traffic has to head north on Boundary.

Police are asking you to avoid the area. They said at 9:20 a.m. that the cleanup would take 2-3 hours.

There were no serious injuries in the double-truck crash around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and a police investigation is underway.
