CORNWALL – A single vehicle crash late Thursday night saw a car end up in a field off McConnell Avenue.
The single vehicle collision happened around 11:30 p.m. where a small red car ended up in the long grass, just north of the railway overpass.
Cornwall Police Service Sgt. Mark Anderson told Cornwall Newswatch the lone driver was treated on scene by Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services.
“Right now, it’s a single vehicle accident with no injuries. We’re still investigating at this point but we’re not expecting any criminal charges or anything like that,” Anderson said.
There were two fire trucks from Cornwall Fire Services, one ambulance from Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services and three Cornwall Police Service cruisers on scene.
The vehicle was later towed away.
