Sword and cocaine among items seized in Prince Albert Street bust

CORNWALL – City police have detailed a cache of drugs and weapons seized early Friday morning (Oct. 19) in a drug bust on Prince Albert Street.

Officers searched a home before 6 a.m. and seized Xanax, cocaine, Percocet, methamphetamine and other stolen property.

They also got weapons: a taser, large sword, a knife and a baton.

A 27-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Cornwall, were arrested.

They have been charged with two counts each of drug possession, two counts of drug trafficking, one count of possession of property obtained by crime, weapons possession and breach of probation.

Both appeared in a Cornwall court for a bail hearing.
