CORNWALL – Some brazen vandals destroyed a city flower bed and ruined three Heart of the City planters just steps from the front door of the Cornwall police station.

It happened sometime Saturday night (Sept. 8) and Esca Pizza staff discovered the entire flower arrangement planted right outside their front door on Pitt Street.

The three planters were also dumped outside the business entrance.

Management tried to clean it up as best they could.

The city’s parks and recreation department will not replace the beds and planters this year because there are no replacement plants available and it’s late in the season.
