SD&G – While SD&G is under a heat warning, the balmy temperatures could be the right recipe for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and tonight (Saturday).

Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch just before 11 a.m. and said the threat will persist through the rest of the day.

Some thunderstorms could cause damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain.

A heat warning is still in effect, which was issued just after 3 p.m. Friday.
