Colts goalie Lascelle NCAA bound this fall

CORNWALL – After an impressive season, Colts goalie Liam Lascalle will be heading to a New York State college this fall to play NCAA Division III hockey.

The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) announced today (Jun 29) that Lascelle has committed to Hobart College where he will play with the Hobart Statesmen.

The private liberal arts college is in Geneva, N.Y., south of Rochester in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York.

Lascelle, 21, was the CCHL Top Goaltender this past season and was also a finalist for the CJHL Top Goaltender Award.

Lascelle’s had an impressive record last season of 27-17-3, 2.72 goals against average, four shutouts and 1,669 saves, leading all goalies in the league.

He made over 4,000 saves in 137 career starts with the Colts. He also played with the Alexandria Glens in 2014-15.
