SD&G – You will see some school buses back on the road today (Tuesday) as students with the French Public and Catholic school boards head back to class.

The City of Cornwall is also reminding you that crossing guards will be out and school safety zones will be enforced by local police.

The Cornwall Community Police Service is also taking a zero tolerance approach to motorists not stopping for school buses.

Those failing to stop for a stopped school bus with its lights flashing face a $490 fine and six demerit points on their driver’s licence.

English Public and Catholic school students don’t go back to class until Sept. 5 – the day after Labour Day.
