CORNWALL – A large section of the east end of Cornwall and South Glengarry was without power this morning (Sunday).
Cornwall Electric tweeted just before 11 a.m. that the outage extended to Summerstown and that crews are being sent out to address the problem.
The power utility had estimated that power would be restored by noon but some residents had tweeted the lights came back on around 11:15 a.m.
The cause of the outage is not immediately known.
We are experiencing an unplanned outage in the East End of Cornwall extending to Summerstown. Crews have been dispatched.
