Project Harden drug trafficker gets six months

CORNWALL – A Cornwall man, arrested during a handgun and cocaine trafficking ring, will be spending six months in jail.

Sean Carl, 27, was sentenced Jan. 26, 2017 in relation to two charges – trafficking in cocaine under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and possession of proceeds obtained by crime under the Criminal Code.

Carl received a six month sentence and a year of probation on both charges. The sentences will run concurrently (will run at the same time).

He also has to submit a DNA sample and has a 10 year weapons ban. He also has to pay a $400 fine to the court.

Carl was among eight people arrested in May 2015 during the multi-jurisdictional police raid dubbed Project Harden.
