CORNWALL – Cornwall councillors will sit down tonight (Monday) to figure out how much you will pay for water and sewer in 2017.
The water and sewer budget typically is passed with little or few adjustments, meaning the proposed 1.43 per cent increase in 2017 will likely stand.
City councillors were given the draft budget last month.
Based on the budget, the average water and sewer bill will go up $8 to $11 per year depending on how many bathrooms and outside taps you have and whether you have a swimming pool.
The special council meeting starts at 6 p.m.
