Cornwall Catholic church will remain closed for months

CORNWALL – It will likely be months before structural problems are addressed at Cornwall’s Nativity Co-Cathedral.

Chancellor Kimberly Walsh indicated that a request for proposals from contractors will start next month and repair work to the church’s choir loft should begin β€œin the next few months.”

The Catholic church at 220 Montreal Road was closed just before Christmas after problems with the building showed up in the loft, which now requires structural reinforcement.

In the meantime, Mass will be celebrated at St-Felix-de-Valois and Sainte-Croix until the repairs are done.
