CORNWALL – Owners of an equipment rental company will have some damage to contend with when they get to work this morning.
A car plowed into a garage bay door Monday morning at Atlas Rental at the corner of Eighth and Pitt Streets.
Cornwall police are on scene conducting an investigation.
Sgt. Dave MacLean tells Cornwall Newswatch it was a single vehicle, a white sedan, involved and the driver fled the scene.
MacLean says accident reconstruction experts are trying to piece together what happened.
Police later determined the car was stolen and the suspect is still at large.
