PERTH – Holy Trinity has qualified for the Sears Drama Festival Provincial Showcase.
The Catholic high school’s rendition of the C.S. Lewis classic The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe wowed the judges in Perth last week. HT has been working on the performance since May 2014, which includes original music, dance and pyrotechnics.
The play has been selected to perform at the Provincial Showcase to be held at Sir John A. Macdonald High School in Hamilton May 6-9.
The Sears Drama Festival is a one-act play festival in its 69th year. It’s an opportunity for drama and arts students to develop their stagecraft skills and compete with other schools around the province.
