CORNWALL – The Eastern Canadian Championship hockey tournament gets underway in earnest tonight at the civic complex.
Carleton Place faces Dieppe this afternoon (Wednesday) at 3 p.m.
The host Cornwall Colts, who lost in the CCHL semifinals, take on the Longueuil College Francais in the nightcap.
The puck drops at 7 p.m.
The last time the Colts won the Fred Page Cup was in 2000.
The unofficial launch to the tournament was a Cornwall Royals alumni game against the Colts last night.
