CORNWALL – A Cornwall law firm has bought another highly-respected law practice in the city.

Allinotte Law Office Professional Corporation has purchased Don White’s practice.

White has been operating since 1978, specializing in family law, civil litigation, estates and real estate.

Under terms of the deal, Don White will be part of the Allinotte legal team.

“I have a tremendous amount of respect for Don White, who has practiced law in Cornwall for decades,” says Michele Allinotte. “I’m honoured that he would choose to transition his practice to my office upon his retirement, and my team and I are committed to serving our combined clients well.

“I’m thrilled that Don has agreed to stay on as counsel, as his considerable expertise will benefit our clients and our team,” she adds.

White says he took considerable time trying to find a law firm that was the perfect fit for his practice and found it in Michele Allinotte and her associate lawyer, Natalie Trottier.

Allinotte tells Cornwall Newswatch her practice at 160 Pitt Street and White’s at 400 Montreal Road will run separately for now but will be consolidated at Pitt Street in one or two months.
