Stolen boat in South Glengarry

LANCASTER – It’s not your typical winter theft.

Police are looking for a stolen boat in the South Glengarry Township.

The theft of the boat “ALEGRIA” is believed to have occurred sometime after Dec. 15, 2014.

The boat was reportedly taken from a storage facility just outside Lancaster, on 80th Avenue, and was only discovered missing after Jan. 5, 2015.

ALEGRIA is a black and white 33 foot Chaparral Cabin Cruiser with two Mercury V8 out-drive engines.

Police are continuing investigation and ask anyone who has any information about the boat’s whereabouts or the individual responsible for the theft to call SD&G OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
