CORNWALL – The husband of Coun. Elaine MacDonald has lost his battle with cancer.
David Allan Denneny died Sunday with his family by his side at the Cornwall Community Hospital.
He was 62.
He is survived by MacDonald, as well as a daughter, a sister, two brothers, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is being held at McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home & Chapel on Second Street East on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral is Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
In his obituary, the family singled out the care David received from the cancer care team at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital and the Critical Care Unit at the Cornwall Community Hospital during their difficult journey.
